Hello Artists...

Please take some time to watch these videos... all are focused on the Coast Salish Culture and highlight some of my favorite Coast Salish Artists.

Some of these artists, like Qwalsius, Tsi'li'xw Bill James, Matika Wilbur and Judy Gobin (my mother) you will have a chance to meet during this semester, through in class lectures, artists studio visits and workshops.

After watching all these videos, I would like you to write a one page reflection paper one Contemporary Coast Salish Artist... you can find more of their work online if you do a simple google search or click on the links I have provided. I encourage you to do your own research to learn more about the artist you chose. 

Also, please think of at least two questions for each artist featured, as you will get a chance to meet some of them this semester.
